Kickplay Launches Revolutionary Web Games
Kickplay, Inc. (aka Company 4.0) issued its debut press release, announcing the opening of our site. Traffic growth to the site has been terrific and even more importantly, the site is getting both press and quite a number of blog posts. Interestingly, about 20% of our traffic is coming from China.
One of the more interesting blogs wrote about us on the day of launch. GameZebo.com is the main authority on casual games and gave Kickplay a very good report. We will post other blog and news postings on the Kickplay Blog. For now, here is the launch press release. Enjoy!
Kickplay Launches Revolutionary Web Games
Patent Pending Web 2.0 Site Lets Users Personalize Their Own Games
NAPLES, FL, November 15, 2007 — Kickplay (www.kickplay.com), a web-based casual games company, today announced the launch of its revolutionary, patent-pending free games hub. The technology behind Kickplay allows users to personalize their favorite web-based casual games by uploading their own images and sounds. Consistent with Web 2.0 strategies, personalized games can then be shared all over the web at places such as Facebook, Google and blogs.
Kickplay is the first company to deliver sharable images and sounds combined with familiar game-play. A personalized game can be created in just minutes on the Kickplay site. Kickplay’s games boast some of the most popular and recognizable game types in the industry – such as asteroids, solitaire, match three, and more.
Players can access the growing library of shared user images and sounds to create their own unique experience. With the current inventory of games and shared user images and sounds, there are literally trillions of game possibilities for users. In addition to playing, personalizing and sharing games, users can tag, rate and comment on games, and create a list of their favorite games. For user supplied images, the site also includes a “cutter” which is used to resize and shape a specific image, such as a person’s face. With their free Kickplay account, players will also track the popularity of their personalized games by game ratings, number of times played, highest scores and comments which are included free with each personalized game. Site enhancements are planned for release over the next several months, including significantly more game types and deeper social networking features.
“The Kickplay service intersects with two of the largest and fastest growing segments of the internet: 200 million on-line gamers and the rapid growing number of people craving to personalize themselves on the Web,” said Kendall Kunz, founder and CEO of Kickplay, Inc. “We hope to syndicate our patent-pending platform with many of the most popular game and entertainment sites on the web. In addition, our technology makes it possible for companies who wish to have a branded game, to license one of our games at approximately 10% of the cost of having a custom game developed for them. This could be very disruptive in the adver-gaming marketplace.”
Independent game developers can participate by submitting a flash game to the Kickplay site, and receive a share in the advertising revenue generated by users playing those personalized games.

Congrats guys! Looks awesome!
Hey Kendall, this is Mary Cullen and all of a sudden I can’t log onto my game so I can improve my scores some. I don’t know what has happened but I had entered it into my “favorites” and the site comes up but won’t give me the game to “play”. Any ideas? Thanks pal.
I guess I have sufficiently beaten Bob and Joyce Madaio who play this game too cause I haven’t seen his scores on the “top ten” either.
Thanks for your input.
Sincerely,
Mary Cullen
